Meet the Sculptor

Hello, my name is Justin Geryak, and my story is a simple one. I am a second generation Taxidermist and have spent my entire life around and working in taxidermy with my parents, Joe and Kelly Geryak.        At a very young age I spent time in my fathers shop, mainly sweeping floors,                                          but I always loved being in that environment and seeing the work being done.                                                                                               At the age of 17, I started working in the family                                                                                               business and haven’t looked back. At the age of                                                                                               20, I was fortunate enough to spend the summer                                                                                             working with Cliff Hales and Jimmy Beenken in                                                                                             Eagle River, WI on animals from all over the                                                                                                   world for the Cabella's Dundee, MI store.  It was                                                                                             there that my eyes were opened to the possibility of what could be                                                                done in this industry and I formed a desire to explore large animal anatomy. Over the next 15 years I was blessed with the opportunity to specialize in primarily life-sized taxidermy from all over the world with the family business.  Focusing on skeletal, muscular movement, and skin reaction allowed me to further develop and hone                                                   my sculpting abilities. By the time I was 30, I had completed a life-sized                                                       Whitetail sculpture from a skeleton and even sculpted for a large supply                                                      company. Since then I’ve continued working on my skills as a sculptor by                                                    sculpting various species                                      and expanding into mold                                                     building. Now I am                                              fulfilling a dream I’ve                                                         had for years by                                                    sculpting forms that I                                                          own and can bring to the                                      market.   I am fortunate                                                       to work with an amazing                                      team that has been very helpful in getting me to this point. Our goal is to bring you                                      a well designed mannikin at a great price that will make your work not only easier,                                      but more profitable as well. My team and I are always open to new ideas for future                                      sculptures, so please  feel free to contact us with  your  feedback. We look forward                                      to serving all of you in the future, and for years to                                                                                          come, as we continue to grow.

                                                                          Thank you for your time,

                                                                                                     Justin
